DESCRIPTION
Mac CallerID© is a shareware application that will display and
store specific information provided by your local telephone
company. You must subscribe to your local telephone company’s
“caller information and identification service,” commonly known
as Caller ID. This application is similar to the Caller ID
boxes available in many stores, but is available at a fraction
of the cost. A lot of work went into the application, and
hopefully you will agree that it is worth the nominal fee or
more.
The caller's name, number, date and time can be displayed as
a single call or in a list of all calls. Mac CallerID should
work in the United States, Canada and Sweden.
Mac CallerID© REQUIRES THAT YOU ARE IN AN AREA WHERE CALLER ID
IS AVAILABLE, YOU ARE A SUBSCRIBER AND HAVE A MODEM THAT
SUPPORTS CALLER ID.
What is Caller ID?
Caller ID is a way for you to determine who is calling before
you answer the phone. Between the first and second rings,
the phone company sends information about who is calling.
Not all the information is always available, many times the
call might have originated from an area that does not support
Caller ID. At other times the call may be blocked by the
calling party.
REQUIREMENTS
• Desktop Macintosh
• System 7 or greater
• Modem with Caller ID support
• Caller ID service must be provided by your local telephone
company and you must subscribe to the service.
Mac CallerID© - STANDARD FEATURES (UNREGISTERED VERSION)
• Mac CallerID© displays the complete telephone number, name,
area code, time and date of the call.

available information will be displayed. Calls that have no
data will not be displayed.
• Calls with phone numbers can be dialed via the Macintosh
speaker or through the modem.
• The Mac CallerID© database can be read into ClarisWorks or
another similar application to create an instant database of
callers.
• New calls will be displayed automatically, you will be
notified by the flashing new call indicator in the top right
hand corner of the window. Clicking any button or the new
call indicator will stop the indicator from flashing.
• Metro Dialing Option, this enables you to dial a number that
requires an area code but does not need a 1 in front of the
number.
• Works in the United States, Sweden, and Canada. Tested in the
following Canadian Provinces: Manitoba, Saskatchewan,
and Ontario.
• Works with Supra, Zyxel, Motorola, some Global Village,
